Loving your business and your customers

Recently we posted a contest for a pre-wrap gift basket on our Pre-wrap blog. We are new to contests, but figured we’d give it a try and even worried that noone would enter! The response has been completely overwhelming! We are hearing from teen girls, national level male and female athletes, coaches, moms and dads … all telling us how they love pre-wrap.

Yesterday, a reader wrote that they’d love the basket to help honor a teammate who was killed in a car accident.

I would love to donate the Pretty in Pink basket to my Lacrosse team in honor of our good friend and teammate #3-Lindsey Dunn. You see…last summer she past away in a terrible car accident. She just completed her freshman year at our high school and was part of our JV team. Life is full of uncertainly, but with my friends and teammates as my support base…..I know that each and everyone that I’ve encounter in my life will have a deep impact in helping to shape the future of not only me ALL of US! We proudly wear Lindsey’s number on our wristband. We even had beautiful pink t-shirts made in her honor. Everyone on the team has long hair….but no one has the same colored prewrap. YOUR PREWRAP would be another symbol of our team’s unity and commit towards each other and help strengthen our “LACROSSE FAMILY”. I hope you chose the Warwick Girls Lacrosse Team to wear your product in proud support of my team mate….but more importantly our friend Lindsay Dunn!

Wow. Suddenly, email began to pour in (even from commenters who were pleading for the basket) that we should give the basket to this team, who everyone agrees should never have had to deal with something so tragic. The outpouring of emotion is overwhelming. We are a family. Silly as it may seem, a simple headband can represent so much to so many. We are honored to be in the presence of such awesome people.

Just another reason to love our business…
